FilmingLife® ArtHouse: Instant Access to Our Collection of Specialized Filmmaking Mini Courses

FilmingLife® ArtHouse is a series of mini courses that will run in terms for 2024 (previously run every two months), with live instruction and zoom calls with our educators aimed at strengthening and expanding your skills as filmmakers. 

These courses are designed to provide specialized knowledge and skills in a condensed format, perfect for busy photographers + filmmakers. Whether you're looking to enhance your existing skill set or explore a new area of interest, these mini courses offer a flexible and convenient way to enhance your skillset.

At the end of each term, the FilmingLife® staff will choose 3-5 "Staff Picks" to be showcased on the FilmingLife® Website / Blog / Social Media and at the end of the year an "Artist of the Year" will be selected based on submissions to all four ArtHouse Showcases.

FilmingLife® Network: Instant Access to Our Community

Our community is the largest of its kind and it's the place where we meet to share work, discuss projects, ask questions, and brainstorm ways to improve our industry as a collective. To get the most out of our community, we highly recommend that you download the Mighty Networks app to your phone and check in regularly. Our community spaces will be the first thing you see on the left hand side when you log in each day, underneath the global feed tabs.

Announcements + Events - This is where we'll post any important news or updates that we want you to know about, as well as schedule any calls or events we are hosting.

Introduce Yourself - We'd love to know a little about you and where you're from, your photography/videography journey so far, the things you enjoy doing in your spare time, and anything else you'd like to share. Feel free to include links to any films you've created, your website and/or social media accounts as well.

Share Your Work - This is where you can share the films you've made or are working on, either purely to share or to get feedback from the community. If you'd like feedback we definitely recommend mentioning that in your post so people know to give feedback!

Ask Questions + Chat - This is where you can ask questions, brainstorm ideas you're thinking about, ask for referrals, and build relationships with other members of FilmingLife®.

Project 52 / 365  - Led by our FilmingLife® members, this is a space where you can share your Project 52 / 365 films and/or photos and get tips & tricks from other members.

Refund Policy: Due to the digital nature of our membership, we do not offer credits or refunds to members who do not log in during their active subscription. We encourage you to log in and keep track of your time so that you’re dedicating at least an hour a week to either learning or engaging with the community while your subscription is active. You are free to cancel your membership at any time during your billing cycle, through logging into your account and accessing your details in your account profile.
